Learning resources development activities include promoting development of multi-modal instructional resource materials to cater to individualized needs of learning. A good number of learning materials in print and non-print forms including text books, manuals, monographs, multimedia learning packages and educational video films have been and are being developed. Besides, the Institute has also assisted the technical institutions of the Eastern Region in setting up Learning Resource Utilization Centres (LRUCs) for effective use of all types of learning materials. The Institute is also acting as a resource centre for educational video films telecast countrywide through education satellite channel (Gyan Darshan).
