Guidelines

   Guidelines for Model & Poster Presentation

• The maximum number of participants per team is three, and each team will demonstrate only one model.
• A team must demonstrate a working lower-scale model/mobile application on any innovative idea.
• A page write-up (250 words) should be provided highlighting the model's unique features to organizers.

   Instructions for Poster Presenters

• The authors should prepare a poster of size 4 (height) X 3 (width) feet and carry this to the poster display area. Please use the template provided in this email to make the poster.
• Organisers will be around to help with the poster display
• Speakers should adhere strictly to the time allotted to their presentation.
• Model / Posters accepted for presentation at the Academica Industry Conclave are accepted for presentation (3 minutes) by their authors. If the authors cannot attend, the Academica Industry policy is that the poster will NOT be presented. We do not allow posters to be presented by anyone who is not the author.

   Three Minutes Presentation

Ready to present your work in an innovative way? Industry and Academica Conclave is organizing a competition to reward your presentation skills and work. The rules pertaining to this competition are:
• A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted (no slide transitions, animations or 'movement' of any description, the slide is to be presented from the beginning of the oration).
• No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted
• No additional props (e.g. costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.
• Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes will be given negative marking (for each 10 seconds extra consumed, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score obtained by a participant).
• Presentations are to be spoken words (e.g. no poems, raps or songs).
• Presentations are to be commenced from the stage/virtual room.
• Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through movement or speech.
• The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.
