Program Overview

"Waste to Energy" refers to recovering usable value from previously discarded materials. Finding waste streams that can be utilized for social, environmental, and economic gain through recycling, reusing, or upcycling is an integral part of this process. In addition to encouraging sustainable development and the concepts of a circular economy, waste-to-wealth initiatives help the adverse impacts of trash on human health and the environment by redirecting it away from incinerators and landfills.
