Role of the Board of Governors

Provide strategic guidance and oversight for the institute's long-term goals and objectives in technical education and research.

Establish and review policies governing academic programs, research initiatives, and administrative functions of the institute.

Ensure representation from government, industry, academia, and faculty to maintain balanced governance and diverse perspectives.

Oversee financial planning, resource allocation, and ensure optimal utilization of funds for institutional development.

The Board convenes at least once annually to review the institute's performance, approve annual reports, and set strategic directions.

Regular quarterly meetings are held to monitor progress, review financial statements, and address operational matters.

Additional meetings may be convened as needed to address urgent matters, policy changes, or strategic opportunities.

Various sub-committees (Academic, Finance, Infrastructure) meet regularly to provide specialized oversight in their respective domains.
