As per Section 4(1)(b) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, NITTTR Kolkata proactively discloses the following information to promote transparency and accountability in its functioning.

Important Notice

Under Section 4(1)(b) of the RTI Act, 2005, NITTTR Kolkata proactively discloses information to promote transparency and accountability in its functioning. Citizens are encouraged to first check the proactively disclosed information before submitting RTI applications.

RTI Application Fee: A nominal application fee of ₹10 is applicable for each RTI request, which can be paid through Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft in favor of "Director, NITTTR Kolkata" payable at Kolkata.

Response Time: As per the RTI Act, responses to RTI applications are provided within 30 days of receipt of the application. For matters concerning life and liberty, responses are provided within 48 hours.

Appeal Process: If unsatisfied with the response, applicants can file an appeal to the First Appellate Authority within 30 days of receiving the response.
